J. Mori Johnson is currently the Ambassador Engagement Director & Health Equity Work Group Steering Committee member at the American Medical Association (AMA), where she has been employed for the last 25 years. She has held numerous membership, communications, member engagement, marketing, health policy and section director positions during her tenure. Additionally, she has managed many employees over the years and is well-equipped in the art and science of managing a diverse team. Aside from her professional roles at the AMA Mori enjoys volunteering and giving back by serving on the Black Employees & Allies Network as a Sr. Advisor, being a member of the AMA Wellness Committee and founded the AMA Green Team several years ago. Mori and her husband reside in the South Loop neighborhood of Chicago with their rescue cattle dog, Rufus.
