Allison Lundberg is a Senior Digital Marketing Strategist and Team Lead at AmericanEagle.com. She has more than a decade of digital marketing experience, initially starting in the non-profit association industry, then moving to the digital agency space. Allison is passionate about helping businesses in all industries achieve their goals by using testing and data, no matter the digital channel or desired platform. Allison has served as an AAMSE board member and speaker for 8 consecutive years for a medical society, and also holds her Certified Association Executive credential. She was also named a Forty Under 40 recipient in 2020 through Association Forum.
Cathi Hight has more than 25 years’ experience in the association industry. She is passionate about helping member-based organizations evolve and thrive. Considered as a Membership Guru, Cathi is the developer of The Member Retention Kit and A New Approach to Tiered Membership. She helps associations meet the changing expectations of members and effectively communicate the value of membership.
Alex Bardakh as 15 years in leadership level association positions. Over that course his work has focused on directing policy and advocacy programs and helped direct many successful advocacy campaigns on Capitol Hill and with the Federal agencies. He is currently the Director of Policy and Advocacy for AMDA – The Society for Post-Acute and Long-Term Care Medicine and has helped shape the strategic direction of the organization. He has been a recognized national speaker in his field. Alex has a masters degree in legal policy from the University of Maryland Baltimore County (that school that upset #1 seed Virginia in the NCAA tournament) and a bachelors degree in political science and psychology from the same University.
Ariel Jones serves as the Senior Director of Association Management at the Pennsylvania Medical Society, spearheading the operations of Total Excellence Association Management, a distinguished division of PAMED offering comprehensive association management services. With a career spanning 17 years, Ariel has been deeply committed to strengthening and building non-profits and associations across the United States.
At the helm, Ariel oversees a dynamic team of 27 dedicated association professionals, diligently catering to the needs of 29 client associations. She firmly believes in the pivotal role associations play in shaping our world, advocating for inclusive representation in decision-making spheres.
A passionate advocate for mentorship, Ariel finds fulfillment in nurturing emerging association professionals, empowering them to thrive in their careers. She upholds a philosophy of leading with both curiosity and kindness, embodying these principles in her everyday endeavors.
A graduate of the esteemed AAMSE Leadership Academy, Ariel actively contributes as a member. She lends her time to various initiatives, serving on the annual meeting planning committee and the diversity, equity, and inclusion task force. Ariel looks forward to furthering her involvement with AAMSE, driving its progressive agenda forward.
Residing in Harrisburg, PA, Ariel finds joy in the company of her husband, two sons, and three beloved dogs. Beyond her professional pursuits, she indulges her passions as an avid Target shopper, discerning coffee enthusiast, and proud Penn Stater.
Renalin J. Malvar-Ledda is the Senior Director of Events and Operations of the American Association of Hip and Knee Surgeons (AAHKS). Her current role requires her to wear multiple hats: help manage a small (but mighty!) staff of 10.75 FTEs supporting nearly 5,000 members in over 50 countries; liaise on behalf of the Board of Directors; administer the annual appointment process for 220 volunteers in 23 committees; and manage organizational events, including the AAHKS Annual Meeting and Spring Meeting, amongst many others. Prior to joining AAHKS, Renalin was the Executive Coordinator for Assessment Services of the National Board of Osteopathic Medical Examiners, Inc. (NBOME).
Ashton DeLong is General Counsel for MedChi, The Maryland State Medical Society and has a CIPP/US certification. Prior to joining MedChi, Ashton spent over three years working on behalf of Maryland doctors as an associate attorney at Medical Mutual Liability Insurance Society of Maryland. She also served as senior law clerk to former Chief Judge Patrick Woodward at the then Court of Special Appeals of Maryland and as law clerk to the late Judge Thomas Simpson, Jr. at the Circuit Court for Charles County.
Brandon J. Craig is a thirteen-year association professional, having focused primarily on membership and communication in that time. He acquired his Master of Public Administration from the University of Southern California in 2013 and his CAE certification in 2019. He's found himself managing social media at several stops along the way and doesn't understand why this keeps happening. He lives in Sacramento with his wife, toddler, two dogs, and overgrown Imposter Syndrome.
Michelle Majewski is a Senior Manager for Education and Professional Development at Society for Vascular Surgery. She has more than a decade of continuing education for medical non-profits. Michelle is passionate about creating new and innovative content for continuing education. Michelle has served on the board for the Illinois Alliance for Continuing Medical Education and currently on the Holiday Showcase Program Advisory Group for Association Forum.
Chiara Rodgers serves as Sr. Director of Research and Humanitarian Activities at the American Association of Hip and Knee Surgeons (AAHKS). Chiara oversees the organizational functions of the Research Committee, Humanitarian Committee, and Operation Walk. She also serves as the staff liaison to the AAHKS Diversity Advisory Board. With over 15 years of healthcare and association experience, honors have included an invitation to speak at the 2023 AAMSE conference, Rise to Health Coalition member, and Ariel Investment/BMO Bank 40 under 40 award recipient. Her passion for healthcare and advocacy stems from personal experience as a childhood cancer survivor and longtime patient champion. Chiara earned a Master’s degree in Public Health from Benedictine University and completed additional studies at Indiana State University and the University of Chicago.
Joshua Kerr is the Deputy Executive Director of the American Association of Hip and Knee Surgeons where he manages the advocacy, payment and international programs, along with development of the strategic planning and young surgeon group work. In addition, he oversees the association’s membership, marketing and industry relations activities. With 20 years of experience in the medical association world, he is a graduate of Roosevelt University and The Ohio State University.
Shelby Job is originally from Kansas City, Missouri. After moving to the Wild, Wild West in 2020, she began her journey with the Arizona Medical Association. Shelby has the privilege of directing ArMA’s Communications & Marketing department, which is responsible for the association’s communications and marketing processes, including media relations, email marketing, website management, and more. Shelby is also the staff liaison for ArMA’s Resident & Fellow Section, Communications Committee, and Diversity, Equity, & Inclusion Taskforce. Prior to joining ArMA, Shelby enjoyed the rigor of event planning, executing over 200 events yearly. In her spare time, Shelby enjoys reading and writing fantasy and environmental literature, cooking up new dishes with her partner, and driving through the beautiful Arizona landscape in her 1997 Jeep Wrangler.
